I’m not worth $900 million; disregard the rumors – Mahama
The office of former president John Dramani Mahama has fiercely denied recent assertions that he is the fourth-richest person in Ghana, with an estimated net worth of almost $900 million.
These accusations have been deemed completely baseless and without any basis in reality.
In a formal statement, Mr. Mahama’s office categorically denies these claims and sees them as yet another deliberate attempt to damage his image, incite hostility toward him, and undermine his history of selfless and committed service.

The statement continues by saying that these erroneous accusations seem to be a part of a planned campaign run by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with the intention of sullying the reputation of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer.
The Ghanaian people are urged in the statement released by Mr. Mahama’s office to reject these unfounded accusations and any potential similar claims that could surface in the future.
The general population is urged to keep their attention on the important political problems and things that have a real influence on the country and to see through the motives behind such rumors.
