“I’ll never take salary as the president if voted into power” – Kennedy Agyapong

In an effort to win a large number of votes from Ghanaians so that he can succeed Nana Akufo Addo during the general elections on December 7, 2024, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has issued his first pledge.

Kennedy Agyapong claimed in an exclusive interview with Suncity FM that he would give up his salary and other perks from holding the office of president.

“I’ll never take salary as the president if voted into power” – Kennedy Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong stated that he will invest his income in a fund to support education for the nation’s least fortunate citizens.

“When I come, I won’t take salaries or any pegs. I will convert my benefits into scholarships for poor people to go to the university. I’ve a lot of jobs so I won’t rely on public funds. My companies will take care of me. I won’t rely on public funds.

“I will establish a presidential scholarship to make sure poor but brilliant people get access to schools. My net salary will be used to sponsor children”.

He additionally added that he will use his own cars as a presidential convoy and later gift them to state when he leaves the office of the presidency.
