I won’t campaign for NPP in 2024 – Samini promises
Emmanuel Andrew Samini, often known as Samini, one of the celebrities who backed the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to win political power in 2020, has stated that he will not do so again in 2024.
The 7th of December, 2024, is the election day in Ghana, and people have begun discussing the party they plan to support or vote for.

Samini, a dancehall musician, has stated that he will not follow through on his support for President Nana Addo in 2020.
“Things like free SHS, one district one dam (1D1D), one district one factory (1D1F) for the farmers. I was more interested about the factories because I come from the North and the numbers we have over there if you have factories that can employ people,” he said.
When asked if he will continue to run for the NPP in 2024, he said that not enough effort has been put into the music business compared to what was promised to him during the 2020 campaign.
