26 new Municipal and District Chief Executive Officers have been nominated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, following the dismissal of 24 on Friday, February 3.
Article 243 (1) of the Constitution is followed by the nominations.
The President in a statement on February 3, said, “Pursuant to my letter on February 2, 2024, and in accordance with article 243 (1) of the Constitution, I have made the following nominations to the office of Chief Executive of the following Municipal and District Assemblies, pending their approval by their respective assemblies.”
