Media personality Afia Pokua, commonly known as Vim Lady, has requested that John Dramani Mahama, the former president of Ghana, receive an unequivocal apology from President Nana Addo.
Recall how the president and his vice, Mahamudu Bawumia, vilified John Mahama during the 2016 campaign and general elections.
During her political program Egyaso Egyaso, Afia Pokua claimed that Nana Addo had betrayed the nation and all of its residents because many people had put their trust in him to transform Ghana. She recalled how Nana Addo made fun of John Mahama for the depreciation of the cedi during his administration and pledged to stop the dollar’s rise.
The country is in trouble, thus the President needs to schedule a nationwide broadcast to offer an unreserved apology to John Mahama for dragging him into the debate over the depreciation of the dollar and the cedi. Afia Pokua has urged the President to postpone his present tour of other regions.
“Put your tour on hold we have a crisis; organize a nationwide broadcast and firstly apologize to former president John Mahama for dragging him over the cedi depreciation. Whatever you told Mahama, come back and say the same thing. Tell Ghanaians you messed up, admit to your mistakes”, Afia Pokua stated.
