The flag bearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has cited that Ghanaians are going through difficult times under the leadership of Akufo-Addo led NPP government.
The former President and the current NDC leader indicated that the economy is working in favour the majority of Ghanaians, a situation he is plugging them into severe hardship
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Komla Klutsey on the TV3’s New Day programme yesterday, Mr. Mahama noted that Ghanaians are bearing a change in this year’s election due to these challenges they are facing.
“Times are hard for people. All the people we have spoken to find it too earns an end and meet” he said.
“One thing that stands out is the appreciation of the NDC administration for a number of infrastructures that they have in terms of electricity, water, schools, CHIPS compounds, health facilities and so many other things”.
He revealed that people want the NDC to come to power and continue from where they (NDC) has left off, citing that “there’s a case of abandoned projects including clinics, schools, roads, where we have left off, most of these projects have been abandoned the new administration led by Akufo-Addo. Of course, they have their own priorities but the people are not too happy about that.
” They want continuity” he added.
