Ghanaian man gets ready for GWR’s longest ironing marathon

Prince Sintim Aboagye, a driven man from Ghana, is getting ready to break the record for the longest marathon ironing by an individual and make history.

As he posted the official email from Guinness World Records (GWR) on his Instagram feed, confirming the acceptance of his daring ironing marathon, anticipation began to grow.

From May 3 to May 13, 2024, the Agya Herbal Lady D Pub in Pokuase is the venue for the marathon ironing attempt.

Prince wants to iron nonstop for a whopping two hundred and fifty hours.

Numerous people have already shown their excitement, and some even intend to bring their clothing so he may iron them while the event is going on.

Conversations concerning the increasing number of Ghanaians attempting Guinness World Records marathons have surfaced as the word gets out.

Gareth Sanders now holds the record for the longest marathon ironing, having ironed for 100 hours in Bristol, UK, from October 26 to October 30, 2015.

Notably, Gareth’s effort was made at a nearby Asda Superstore for a philanthropic purpose.

All eyes are now on Pokuase as he sets off on this incredible adventure to shatter the Guinness World Record, driven by Prince and the community’s support.
