Forgive me – Kennedy Agyapong Begs
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the divisive New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, has begged for forgiveness from everyone he has insulted or attacked in public.
According to him “I forgive everybody. Anybody who has stepped on my toes, I forgive them. If I have also stepped on anybody’s toes, they should also forgive me’’.
Kennedy Agyapong, the controversial politician, made this statement during his Showdown Health Walk, which was held in Cape Coast over the weekend.
The MP for Assin Central addressed his supporters during a small rally, stressing his resolve to forgive anyone who has harmed him and urging other Ghanaians to extend forgiveness to anyone he may have inadvertently hurt.
He made it clear that he would defeat former President John Dramani Mahama on par with him, even if the opposition National Democratic Congress is expected to field him as their candidate in 2024.

“As for Mahama, he is a missing piece. I will beat him. I will beat Mahama hands down. Because he has failed the North. If you bring the vice president, I will beat him. Dr Bawumia, I will beat him hands down.”.
On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the NPP has set its national delegates conference. It is at this conference that the flagbearer, who will represent the party in the general elections of 2024, will be chosen.
Kennedy Agyapong is one of the candidates; he will have fierce opposition from prominent people including Vice President Dr. Mahumudu Bawumia, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, a former minister of food and agriculture, and Francis Addai Nimo, a former member of parliament for Mampong.
