Eden Hazard has been linked with a surprise switch to Newcastle from Real Madrid.
The 30-year-old has struggled with a number of injury issues since he left Chelsea to join the Spanish club in 2019, making just 53 appearances.
Rumours have been circulating about a return to the Premier League and the Magpies could be a possible destination following the £305m Saudi-led takeover.
However, Marca is ‘very sure’ that Eden Hazard won’t be leaving Madrid in January despite the reported interest from Newcastle.
The outlet writes there’s ‘no contact and the player is not interested’ in the project the Magpies have been involved in after the new owners stated their ambition to take the club to the ‘top’ of the table.
Hazard won six major honours during a seven-year spell at Chelsea and was named as the PFA Player of the Year on one occasion, scoring over 100 times in England.
