A content creator was awarded N2 million ($2,599) by Afrobeats superstar Davido for her clever effort that made him smile.
The woman, who goes by the name Okoli Classic, created a video that attracted the eye of well-known blogger Tunde Ednut, who then chose to repost it on his Instagram page.
The film showed Okoli’s desire for fried rice at night, but because she was short on cash, she had to make do with gari, or cassava granules. She also purchased an apple, milk, sugar, and a sachet of water.
She began preparing her dinner while alerting the audience that she was ready to eat her dish of fried rice, and she ultimately gave it justice with a lot of zeal.
Davido apparently found her writing to be moving, so he got in touch with Tunde Ednut to ask for the girl’s information so he could appreciate her talent since, as the blogger puts it, “it entertained him.”
They initially had trouble reaching Okoli, but when they did, she stated that her phone had broken.
She was gushing compliments and prayers for Davido and the blogger who allowed the DMW CEO to see her work.
