Ernest Owusu Bempah, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Deputy Director of Communications, has urged Ghanaians to trust the Akufo-Addo administration to fix the country’s damaged economy.
He cited the government’s track record of fostering economic growth and maintaining the cedi as evidence to support his argument.
According to a 3news article, Owusu Bempah claimed in a statement that the Ghanaian economy was booming before the coronavirus pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war broke out.
“The NPP is the only party that has the track record of developing the economy and strengthening the Cedi. The economy was doing well prior to Covid and the Russia-Ukraine war,” Owusu Bempah said.
