CAF Awards 2019: Sadio Mane pronounced African Player of the Year

Senegal and Liverpool star, Sadio Mane has just been pronounced the African Player of the Year 2019, after beating fellow Liverpool team mate Mo Salah and Riyad Mahrez to the award.

This follows his outstanding campaign at club and an international level last year, helping Senegal to the final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, where they eventually lost to Algeria.

Last season, Mane scored 22 goals to share the Premier League Golden Boot with Salah and Gabon’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

He also played a key role in helping Liverpool win the Uefa Champions League, Super League and the Fifa Club World Cup last year.

We proudly say, Congratulations to Sadio Mane for
emerging as the 2019 African Player of
the Year.
