Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Braut Haaland breaks Champions League goalscoring record

Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has broken a Champions League record after scoring a hattrick yesterday over Club Brugge.

Halaand has become the fastest player in history to score 15 goals in the Champions League

The Norwegian – recently named the 2020 Golden Boy – bagged a brace in Dortmund’s 3-0 win over Club Brugge on Tuesday evening, with Jadon Sancho also finding the back of the net on the night.

While that means that Haaland has scored in every Champions League game for Lucien Favre’s side this season, the 20-year-old has broken yet another record as the fastest player to hit the 15-goal mark in Europe’s elite competition – doing so in just 12 matches.
