Begoro chief summoned for endorsing John Mahama

The summons, which was sent out on behalf of petitioners Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi Ayebiahwe and Okyeame Owusu, claims that Nana Owiredu Agyarko’s partisan activities defamed the Begoro stool’s reputation and made it a target of political jeers.

The petitioners allege that Nana Owiredu Agyarko made partisan political remarks in favor of the NDC while posing as Nananom’s representative and speaking on behalf of the Begoro people at a campaign event that John Mahama attended.

The summon also directed Nana Owiredu Agyarko Minta II to appear before Nananom without fail, accompanied by any witnesses, and to pay a hearing fee of GHC1,000.00.
