Asantes are now their own enemies – Otumfuo
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, has said that adversaries within the realm are posing a threat in recent times.
He claims that this is the result of Asantes now turning against one another.
At a meeting at Kumasi’s Manhyia Palace, mostly attended by traditional chiefs, Otumfuo made this statement.

The monarch stated that the white man was unable to penetrate or overthrow the Asanteman kingdom even with highly developed weaponry.
But according to Otumfuo, in a video posted by Opemsuo Radio on X, previously Twitter, indigenous people are now plotting to kill one another.
