Asamoah Gyan reacts to marriage annulment
After his marriage to Sandra Gifty Gyamesi was dissolved by the Accra High Court, former Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan declared himself delighted.
The property dispute between former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and his ex-wife Gifty Gyan was resolved by an Accra High Court on Tuesday.
Following a petition from Asamoah Gyan, the court legally canceled the marriage.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports broadcast, the great striker expressed his satisfaction following a five-year legal struggle.

He claims that before bringing the case to court, he carried out a comprehensive investigation, and the High Court’s decision has fairly handled the case.
Gyan laughed as he answered the question of whether he would remarry, saying that his three kids would now be his priority.
In June, Gyan, who has 51 goals all-time for Ghana and holds the record for most African goals scored in World Cup history with six, announced his retirement from sport.
He has been a commentator since he retired and has participated in official CAF activities, such as competition drawings. Furthermore, Gyan’s charity has collaborated with US teams through collaborations.
