Asamoah Gyan appointed to chair youth and sports sub-committee in Bawumia manifesto

Legendary sportsman Asamoah Gyan of Ghana has been assigned to a group that will draft a manifesto for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, for the 2024 elections.

The chairman of the subcommittee on youth and sports is Asamoah Gyan.

The press statement containing this information was signed by Bawumia’s campaign team’s director of communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye.

As the head of the manifesto committee, Osei-Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu is on the list.

The committee will be tasked with creating a workable 2024 manifesto by conducting a comprehensive analysis of the party’s 2016 and 2020 manifestos and involving all pertinent parties.

“The Manifesto Committee is further charged to discharge their mandate efficiently and professionally to produce a comprehensive manifesto document that can stand the test of time to address the legitimate concerns and socio-economic challenges of Ghanaians.”
