Alan Kyerematen, leader and founder of the “Movement for Change” (butterfly movement), has extended an open invitation to Kennedy Agyapong, member of Parliament for Assin North constituency in the Central Region and NPP presidential candidate hopeful, to abandon his ambition in the NPP and join his movement.
In an interview with Silver TV, Mr Kyerematen stated that Kennedy Agyapong is his brother and that his campaign slogan is identical to Mr Agyapong’s. To that aim, he stated that collaboration with Kennedy Agyapong will be the ticket to beat in the general elections in December 2024.
Mr Kyerematen resigned from the NPP on Monday, September 25, 2023, and at a news conference to announce his departure, he announced the establishment of his butterfly movement and his plan to run for president as an independent candidate in 2024.
