Akufo-Addo to present State of the Nation Address today

Today, February 27, 2024, is the day when President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is supposed to give the State of the Nation Address to Parliament.

The speech complies with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, which mandates that the President address Parliament on the State of the Nation at the beginning of each session and prior to the Parliament’s dissolution.

According to this constitutional clause, the President must address the nation’s status at the opening of each session and before Parliament is dissolved.

It is anticipated to outline the government’s main policy goals for the year and offer details on how it plans to deal with the state of the economy.
