Afia Schwarzenegger, a contentious figure in Ghana’s entertainment industry, claims that leading pastors and churches in the country have disregarded the victims of the recent Akosombo Dam leak.
If the church is not raising the problem of people being displaced by the Akosombo Dam overflow, then should stop going, said Afia Schwarzenegger.
She continued by saying that their behavior is a sign of what would happen to them (the members) if they ever needed help.
She posted: “If your church is NOT discussing how to support the people that are affected by this spillage,if your church is not praying for Voltarians..
KINDLY LEAVE THAT SHRINE.THEY WON’T HELP YOU IN TIMES OF NEED.”

Recently, Afia—who is renowned for voicing her opinions on whatever topic is hot in the nation—called out Pastor Mensah Otabil of the ICGC and Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams of the Action Chapel for their thoughtless actions.
She asserts that despite the fact that these pastors take money meant to help the ill, the impoverished, and other people in need, they are happy to ignore the issue.
Afia went on to explain that the problem would probably be resolved if each of them made a personal sacrifice by selling an automobile from their fleet.
The self-described comedy queen has generated a debate on social media on the subject and the role of the church in such circumstances.
