Attorney Amo Darteh, a representative for NPP flagbearer candidate Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, claims that his employer has consistently been open about his political contributions throughout the years.
Kennedy Agyapong, in his opinion, is the only politician in Ghana who is willing to speak the truth with courage and who does not try to manipulate situations in order to benefit his party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), or the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Attorney Amo Darteh was talking about Mr. Agyapong’s allegations that the Bawumia camp offered him an incredible $800 million if he would withdraw from the NPP’s flagbearership contest, which was set for November 4, 2023.
“Ken will never lie, he mentioned some names when he spoke about the money offered, why don’t we call those persons to verify,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’.
He said that in many declarations, Dr. Bawumia’s campaign staff is only “pretending” that Ken Agyapong wasn’t offered any money.
“They are liars, they know,” he noted.
