On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the Royal Regency in London underwent a transformation into a sparkling palace of song as the Ghana song Awards UK honored the finest and brightest of Ghanaian artists.
Shatta Wale, a legendary reggae, dancehall, and afrobeats performer from Ghana, was named Artist of the Year. His opponents were Black Sherif, Piesie Esther, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and King Promise, all of whom had strong nominations.
He also triumphed against Epixode and Stonebwoy in the race for Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the Year.
The numerous award-winning artist has worked diligently to increase his worldwide exposure in recent years.
